Print Queue of Model Drawings to a Printer
Print drawings of a a part, assembly, or its single or several part and/or subassembly to the printer. If necessary, you can select the drawings to be printed.
- Do one of the following:
- Move the cursor over the part symbol in the part's feature tree.
All of the part's drawings are printed.
- Move the cursor over the main assembly symbol in the assembly tree.
- Select a part or a subassembly from the assembly tree, or more than one by holding down Ctrl while clicking with the left mouse button.
- Move the cursor over the part symbol in the part's feature tree.
- Select the Other Exports> Batch Print function.
A Batch Printing dialog box will open where you can define drawings to be printed.
- Print the drawings.
- Select To Printer.
- Click the Printer Settings button, select the printer and make the other necessary selections, and click OK.
- Define the drawings to be printed by selecting one of the following:
- Click the Selected Item button to print the drawings of the selected part or assembly.
- Click the Selected Item + Lover level button to print the drawings of the selected part/assembly and the parts/assemblies on the next layer.
- Click the Selected Item Subtree button to print the drawings of the selected part and all of its layers.
- If necessary, select one of the following:
- Select the Update checkbox to have the geometries of the drawings updated to match the models before printing.
- Select the Special choice on checkbox to select which drawings to print according to the definitions. When you click the Special choice button, you can enter search terms in the fields as the search criteria to select drawings to be printed of all drawings of a model.
- Select OK.
- If necessary, you can add a label to all drawings. For example, you can enter a work number as a label. The label text is added to all drawings. The label is located on the left middle of the drawing.
- Select OK.
