Feature Tree of a Part

The feature tree helps with viewing a part's features and editing them. With the feature tree, you can, for example, reorder, edit, hide or delete features and add comments to them.

The feature tree is displayed by default on the left side of the model window when a part model is opened in the model window.

The modeling steps in a part's feature history will be displayed in the feature tree as feature symbols and names. The steps will be included in the feature tree in the order in which the part is modeled. The part and the features form a tree-like structure, containing the part name, operation (such as Boss or Cutout), sketch and feature.
