Save a Group as a Drawing

General

• You can save a group in the drawing as a separate drawing.
• The function does not save the drawing in the drawing archive.
• To save the drawing to the drawing archive as well, drag the drawing file to the Vertex desktop and use the function File > Save as New.

Save group as a drawing

1. Select the function Drawing | Group > Save group as drawing.
2. Select the group.
   • The program opens the Windows Save As dialog box.
3. Select the folder in which the drawing is saved.
4. Enter a name for the drawing.
5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 to continue saving groups as drawings.
6. Stop saving groups as drawings
   • Select another function or
   • Press the V key or
   • Press the Esc key or
   • Press the middle mouse button or
   • Select the context-sensitive function OK.
