Empty the Database

General

• This function will delete the contents of the database, but will save the database structure.
• First, make a backup of the database, i.e. copy the two files d_DATABASE and d_DATABASEc somewhere safe, because clearing the database cannot be undone.
• Please note that the databases used for archiving (d_PROREG, d_PICREG and d_MODREG) must not be cleared using this function.

Empty the Database

1. Select System | Databases | Maintenance > Empty.
   • The program asks for the name of the database.
2. Select the database, and click Open.
   • The program asks for confirmation before clearing the database
3. Confirm the clearing by clicking Yes.
