Settings

You can define the precision of the output lines to between 0.02 and 0.4 in the DFXtoCNC setup file. The default value of 0.2 generates a sufficiently accurate DXF file in most cases.

This means converting any splines and ellipses in the drawings into AutoCad polylines formed from arcs and lines. This kind of DXF file is suitable as such for laser cutter machining software.

By default, the edge lines are converted into a single polyline. Requires a keyword setting: line_chains_to_polylines value 1 (default).
