Add or Delete a Comment to the Feature Tree

You can add a comment to parts and subassemblies in an assembly and to main features in a part. The comments are displayed at the bottom of the tip text and you can recognize a commented part, subassembly or feature by the text (i) after its name. In addition to the content of the comment you can also see the name of the person who created the comment and the time the comment was created.

Add a comment

1. Select the part, subassembly or feature to which you want to add a comment.
2. Select the context-sensitive function Add comment.
3. Enter the comment into the Add comment dialog box.
   Note: From the drop-down list you can select previously entered comments.
4. Select OK.

Delete a comment

1. Select the part, subassembly or feature from which you want to delete a comment.
2. Select the context-sensitive function Delete comment.
