Edit an Assembly Constraint

You can edit the constraints in an assembly as follows:

Editing Dimension value

This function can be used to change the angle and distance dimensions defined for the elements of a part.

Select the part whose constraint you want to edit from the assembly tree.
Select the constraint from the bottom frame of the assembly tree.
Do either of the following:
- Select the context-sensitive function Edit.
- Double-click the dimension constraint.
Edit the dimension value in the dialog box and confirm it.

Changing the Elements of a Constraint

This function can be used to change an element (line, point and/or face) connected to the geometric constraint of a part.

Select the constraint to be edited from the assembly tree. The elements connected to the constraint will be highlighted in the assembly.
Select the context-sensitive function Elements.
Select the element to be changed in the dialog box: line/point. The selected element is highlighted in the assembly.
If you want to reselect an element you have already selected, click the Change button.
Select a new element from the assembly.
Finally, accept the change.
