Limit the Type of Element the Cursor will Snap to in the Model
General
- With auxiliary functions, you can limit the elements that can be selected with the cursor.
- The auxiliary functions are available in a number of functions, including:- When you move a part, and the program asks you to click the reference point.
- When you move a part and you are selecting a new location for the part.

Limit the elements found by the cursor
- Select the auxiliary function  To all. To all.- You can click surfaces, lines, and points.
 
- Select the auxiliary function  Snap to line and point Snap to line and point- You can click lines and points.
 
- Select the auxiliary function  Snap to point Snap to point- You can only click points.
 
- Select the auxiliary function  Snap to line Snap to line- You can only click lines.
 
- Select the auxiliary function  Snap to surface Snap to surface- You can only click surfaces.
 
- Select the auxiliary function  Snap to point on line Snap to point on line- You can click any point on a line.
