Save a Profile Feature in the Library
Profile Structure Design
General
- The cross-section is stored in the profile library.

- Before saving, table labels are created for the feature in the dimension table
- These are used to select the size of the cross-section when the profile is added to an assembly.
- Profile part data in the assembly parts list is
- The table label, if there are such in the dimension table of the cross-section model.
- The name given when saving the feature, unless table labels have been added.
Save the cross-section model in the profile library
- When the cross section of the profile is ready, create table IDs defining the size of the feature.
- Select the part label in the feature tree and the context-sensitive function Dimension Table.
- Create new table IDs with different variable values. Edit the Dimension Table of a Part Model
- If you intend to modify the size of the feature only with table IDs, select the Selected Variable Values Only from List checkbox in the dialog box.
- If you leave the checkbox empty, the variable values can be freely edited when the feature is added.
- Select the context-sensitive function Save To Library> As Profile.
- If necessary, create a folder for the new features in the Shared/proflibrary folder.
- Name the profile feature.
- Click the Save button.
