Empty the Database

You can empty a database by deleting the contents of the database. The database structure will be preserved.

Note: First, make a backup of the database, i.e. back up the files d_DATABASE and d_DATABASEc, because emptying the database cannot be undone.
  1. Select System | Databases | Maintenance > Empty .
  2. Select the database, and click Open.
  3. Confirm the emptying by clicking Yes.
Note: The databases used for archiving (d_PROREG, d_PICREG and d_MODREG) must not be emptied using this function.
