List the Structure of a Database

This action lists the database structure in a text file. The list will show the names of the database fields and their index, type and length. You can use the list to manually compare databases and to base your data when you make possible display, selection, and list formats for your database.

  1. Select System | Databases | Maintenance > List Structure.
  2. Select the database, and click Open.
  3. Select the folder in which you wish to save the file.
  4. Name the text file, and click Save.
  5. Select an application to open the text file with.
Note: The function cannot be used to list the structure of an attribute database.
