Add Insulation to a Limited Area

You can use this function to add an insulation layer to a horizontal structure with a framing, or to a floor or roof panel. The insulation is added between joists on a limited area of the horizontal structure or panel.

1. Select the structure. The structure’s basic layer whose type is FRAMING becomes automatically selected. If necessary, you can select another FRAMING type layer.

2. Select Plane Structure | Framing | Add Profile Add Insulation Add Insulation to Limited Area.
3. Select the insulation properties in the Wool Data dialog box.

4. Select the corner points of the area to which insulation is to be added.
5. Select Confirm.

The insulation layer is added to the framing model FRAMING.vxm.
