Move a Drawing on a Sheet
You can move a drawing on a drawing sheet from the grip point or by using the reference drawing moving function.
If you want to move several view drawings at once, select the views and use the function Move.
Moving an Object within a Drawing/Model
If you wish to change the scale of the view, limit the locating point options, or use a relative positioning of a view, move the drawing as follows:
- Do either of the following:
- Select the function from the ribbon:
- First, open a drawing sheet. Update and Open a Drawing Sheet
- Select Output | Drawings | Edit Drawing on Sheet.
- Select the function in the project's document browser:
- Open the branch Architectural documents / Sheets.
- Move the cursor on a drawing sheet.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
- Select Edit Drawing on Sheet. The drawing sheet is opened.
- Select the function from the ribbon:
- Select the drawing to be moved.
- If necessary, select an auxiliary function, which you can use to change the reference point, to mirror a drawing or to change the drawing scale, for example.
- Select a new location for the drawing.
Note
- You can delete the drawing from the sheet by selecting Drafting | Tools | Reference Drawings Delete.
