Change a Building Component to Another Component

You can change a building component to another, already existing component, which is called a reference component. A building component can be a stair, a door, a window, a single window trim, etc.

The reference component is positioned thus that the reference points selected from the components are set on top of each other. The rotating and mirroring information of the component to be changed remain unchanged.

1. Select the component to be changed.
2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
3. Select Change Building Component.
4. Select the reference point of the component to be changed.
5. Select a reference component.
6. Select the reference point of the reference component.
7. Quit by pressing the Esc key.
