Copy an Object to a New Window

Copy the selected objects to a new window by selecting the Advanced > Copy to a New Window function from the context-sensitive menu. Select the objects in the drawing or model window. Select a reference point that is located at the origin of the new drawing/model window. The program will open a new drawing/model window and copy the selected objects to it. You can save the drawing or the model by selecting > Save.

1. Select one or more objects.
2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
3. Select the Advanced > Copy to a New Window function.
4. Select a reference point.

Note

• If you select only windows or doors and trims or grilles connected to them for copying in the model window, no reference point needs to be selected. Instead, the program will automatically copy the openings to the new model window with the origin of the model at the floor level.
