Delete Object But Keep Shaping

There can be shaping joints between objects, such as notches added through the joint detail browser. If you delete a notching object by pressing the Delete key, the notching will also be deleted. If you wish to remove an object but keep the shaping it causes in another object, delete the object as follows:

1. Select Modeling | Tools Delete Object But Keep Shaping.
2. Select one or more objects.
3. Select Confirm.
