Editing Descriptions of Keynotes
You can edit the keynote types, labels and descriptions defined in the KEYNOTES database as follows:
- Select System | Symbols | Key Notes. The Keynotes database view will open. The database shows the following information on the keynotes:

Type – Keynote type. When adding a keynote to a drawing, you can choose whether or not the type is shown in the keynote symbol.

Keynote label – The keynote label that is displayed in the symbol added to the drawing.

Description 1, 2, 3 – Keynote description texts can be divided into three text fields. The maximum length of a description text in one field is 255 characters. Consequently, the maximum length of a description text is 3 × 255 characters. The descriptions are displayed in keynote legends added to drawings.

Do one of the following:

Edit the description texts of an existing keynote.
- Add a new keynote to the database by copying an existing row or by adding a new row, see Editing Vertex Databases. Edit the contents of the fields on the row.

- Confirm by clicking OK.
Note
- The program will save the changes made in a user-specific database. If the database is not found in the Custom folder, it is first copied from the System folder. Confirm the copying by clicking Yes in the message box.
- System tab is only available if you are a system administrator.
