Updating the Project Keynotes

When adding a keynote to a drawing, you must select it from a database. If you edit the description texts in the database, the changes will not be automatically updated in the project drawings. You can update the keynotes and legends for all drawings of the project as follows:

1. Select Drafting | Tools | Insert Keynote Update Keynotes in Whole Project. You will be prompted: "This operation updates all files in the project. Updating cannot be undone. Do you wish to proceed?"
2. Do either of the following:
   • Select Yes - The application will go through all project files, and if any keynotes or keynote legends that require updating are found, the files will be updated and saved.
   • Select No - The operation will be canceled.
3. If you selected Yes, select which keynotes to update in the Updating Keynotes dialog box:
   • Update keynotes - Keynotes selected from the KEYNOTES database are updated.
   • Update NSO notes - Project-specific notes selected from the NSONOTES database are updated.
4. When the update is complete, you will receive the following message: "N keynotes updated in project" or "No keynotes were updated in project".

• You can view the data of a keynote added to a drawing by double-clicking the symbol of the keynote.
