Set a Background Photo to the Model
Rendering
You can set a background photo to the model from the "Scaled image backgrounds" folder of the background library, for example.
- Select Rendering | Environment | Background. The browser is opened.
- Select a folder. For example, select the software supplier's folder Scaled image backgrounds in the Vertex Library.
- Do either of the following:
- Double-click the thumbnail.
- Click the thumbnail with the right mouse button and select Select.
Note:
- Once you have added a background to the model, a new selection will replace the old background.
- You can display the background by visualizing the model using the Rendering | Render Style | Rendered function.
- Set the model view to match the horizon line of the photograph, see Set the Model View to Match the Background Image. If necessary, rotate or pan the model, and then render again.
- You can save your own background photos in your own library, see Add a Photo of Your Own to the Background Library.
- You can add a photo of the type "backfoto" as the background. In this case you can change the model's position in relation to the background photo, see Position a Model on a Background Photo.
