Copy an Old Background or Foreground and Edit its Shading Properties
Rendering
You can create a new background by copying an old background from the library. You can then paste the background to your own library. Once you have named the new background, it is displayed as a thumbnail in the library. You can then select the background from the library and edit its properties. You can create a new background in the same way.
- Do either of the following:
- Select System | Rendering Textures > Backgrounds. The browser is opened.
- Select System | Rendering Textures > Foregrounds. The browser is opened.
- Open the browser folder from which you want to copy the old background/foreground. You can also copy a background/foreground from the Vertex Library.
- Click the background/foreground with the left mouse button.
- Right-click to open the function menu, and select Copy.
- Select My Library.
- Select a folder in which to paste the background/foreground, or create a new folder, if necessary.
- Right-click to open the function menu.
- Select New Folder.
- Enter a name for the new folder.
- Select the folder you have just created.
- Right-click to open the actions menu, and select Paste.
- Name the new background/foreground. After naming, the image and name are displayed in the browser.
- Click the background/foreground with the left mouse button.
- Right-click to open the function menu, and select Edit.
- Edit the shading properties in the dialog box.
- Confirm by clicking OK.
