Drawing Properties in a Section View
The drawing properties of the building components in the section view are directly determined by the 3D model. You can control the drawing properties of layers in walls, floors and roofs in the ways described below.
Line font
By default, the line font of layers in a section view is a continuous line. If you have selected another line font for a layer in the structure properties with the 3D line parameter, you can specify this line type to be used in the section view. The line font to be used is defined in the system settings in the 3d keyword group with the keyword use_line_sort_and_scale_for_sections.
use_line_sort_and_scale_for_sections = 0 | The line font is a continuous line. |
use_line_sort_and_scale_for_sections = 1 | The line font and scale are read from the structure properties from the layer parameter 3D line. |
Section hatch
A section hatch is added to a wall layer in the section view when the layer has the 3D volume property Section figures (AUTOSECTION) and the parameter Line fill. Drawing the cross section hatch requires that the SECT_DRWFIG property has been defined for the building. The drawing properties of the hatch are determined by the Line fill parameter of the layer.
A section hatch is added to a floor or roof layer in the section view when the layer has the parameter Section hatch. The parameter determines the drawing properties of the hatch.
