Open a BCF File

Open a BCF file as follows:

1. Activate the model window.
2. Select Archives | IFC BCF. The BIM Collaboration Format dialog box opens.
3. Select File > Open file on the right side of the dialog box.
4. Select a folder and a file, and click Open. The topic list of the BCF file opens in the dialog box.
5. Do one of the following:
   • Double-click a row in the list to open the topic information.
   • Select Add new topic from the right-click menu.
   • Select the row of the topic and select Delete topic from the right-click menu.

6. Save the file:
   • While the dialog box is open, select File > Save.
   • Click OK to close the dialog box.
   • Select File > Save as to save the file with a different name.
