Selection Filter

You can limit the elements that will be selected by using the selection filter. The function will open a Selection Filter dialog box into which all the element types used in the drawing have been collected. Once you have selected the filtering element types, you can select only elements of the selected types in the working window. For example, if you select Lines as the element type, you can only select lines.

1. Select Selection Filter from the tool strip.

   

2. Select the filtering element types and the properties in the dialog box.

3. Select Confirm.

• When adding en element, you can prevent the snapping of the cursor to a drawing line and line points by pressing the Alt key. After selecting an element adding function, first press the Alt key and then click an element point in a drawing.
