Scale a Reference Drawing by Measuring
You can define the scale of the reference drawing by measuring it in the drawing. Scaling with a measure is available when adding or moving a reference drawing.
Scaling when adding a reference drawing
Make an approximate scaling when adding the reference drawing.
- Select Drawing | Tools | 
 Reference Drawings > 
 Reference Drawing. - Select the 
 Scale with Measure auxiliary function. Click two points in the drawing, for which you already know the intervening distance. - Confirm the distance value in the dialog box or enter a new value.
 - Click the location of the reference drawing.
 - If necessary, define the scaling
 
Scaling when moving a reference drawing
Refine the scaling when moving the reference drawing.
- Select Drawing | Tools | 
 Reference Drawings > 
 Move. - Select the reference drawing to be moved.
 - Select a reference point.
 - Select the 
 Scale with Measure auxiliary function. - Click two points in the drawing, for which you already know the intervening distance.
 - Enter the actual distance between the two clicked boints as a numerical value.
 - Click the location of the reference drawing.
 - Select Confirm.
