Cable Wiring List
This function collects all Cable wiring type connection lines from active drawing sheets into a cable wiring database.
- On the
tab, in the 
Reports group, click
Cable Wiring List. - Choose whether or not cable reservations are used.
- If you select Yes, all those wire connections whose cable and
wire labels have been added from the cable reservations database are collected in the
database. The cable wiring database contains the cable and wire labels of all cables in
the cable reservations database, even if they are not used in the drawing.
This function is used in previous program releases. In more recent program releases, the cable wiring database using cable reservations is created with the
Drawing group operations function
. - If you select No, all Cable wiring type connection lines are collected in the cable wiring database.
- If you select Yes, all those wire connections whose cable and
wire labels have been added from the cable reservations database are collected in the
database. The cable wiring database contains the cable and wire labels of all cables in
the cable reservations database, even if they are not used in the drawing.
- Data is displayed in the view of the cable wiring database. You can edit the database with standard database functions.
- Select OK.
Note
- Connection style of a connection line is set by selecting the connection lines and appropriate connection style to them in toolbar.
- The database is saved in the active project directory Shared/projects/project_name/. If there is no active project, the database is saved in the common database directory Shared/dbases.
- Cable wiring creates log file user/wiring_err, which you can open in log browser for viewing. Open the log file Wiring Collection in the log browser.
