Manage favorites
You can add frequently searched objects (models, library components, symbols etc.) to your browser's Favorites-list in order to speed up your workflow.
Add an object to favorites
- Open the browser by selecting .
- Find the object that you want to add to favorites in the browser eg. in the History category.
- Select the object.
- Select the context-sensitive function .
Remove an object from favorites
- Open the browser by selecting .
- In the Favorites category, select the folder that contains the object that you want to remove.
- Select the object.
- Select the context-sensitive function .
Create a folder in the Favorites category
- Open the browser by selecting .
- In the Favorites category, select the folder in which you want to create a new folder.
- Select the context-sensitive function .
- Enter a name for the new folder in the dialog box.
- Select .
Rename a folder in the Favorites category
- Open the browser by selecting .
- Select the folder that you want to rename.
- Select the context-sensitive function .
- Enter the new name for the folder in the dialog box.
- Select .
Delete a folder from the Favorites category
- Open the browser by selecting .
- Select the folder you want to delete.
- Select the context-sensitive function
- If the folder is not empty, G4 will ask if you want to delete it anyway. If you select , the objects in the folder will be removed from favorites. If you want the objects in the folder to remain in the Favorites category, select and move the objects to another folder.

Move a favorite object or a folder to another folder
- When you add an object to favorites, it is added to the main Favorites folder. You can arrange favorite objects and folders by moving them to subdirectories within the Favorites folder.
- Open the browser by selecting .
- Find the object or folder that you want to move in the Favorites category.
- Drag the object or folder into a new folder.
