Export Elements Selected in a 2D Window as a File

Select elements from the file opened in the Vertex 2D window and save as a Vertex drawing or another file format.

1. Open one of the following in the 2D window.
   • Vertex drawing
   • Model Drawing
   • Other file format
2. Select the elements in the 2D window.
3. Select the context-sensitive function Save Selected As.

   The selected elements are opened in a new 2D window.

4. Select the folder in which you wish to save the file.
5. Select the file format in which you wish to save the file.
6. Enter the file name.
7. Click Save.
8. Depending on the selected file format, make same definitions.
