Flow

Edit the user-specific settings. Save the user-specific settings by clicking the OK button.

Select > User Preferences > Language, Autosave, Flow.

The address of the Flow server has been set in the system settings. If necessary, you enter a new address.
To restore the default value, click the Default value button.

Local directory to files from Flow in use

Select the check box if you want the software to save a model in a local directory’s file cache when a model (item) is opened from Flow, checked-in to Flow or added to an assembly. Next time you open that model, the software reads it from the file cache, if there is no newer file available on the Flow server. This way you speed up the software’s functions.
Define the file cache's location in the field Local directory to files from Flow. The default is ./FlowCache, then a directory FlowCache is created to user's home directory. The marking .\ refers to the user's Vertex home directory, for example: C.\vxg4\user
Select the amount of disc space reserved for the file cache from the field’s Max. size drop-down menu. The default value is 10 GB. You can also type the value as an integer in unit GB. If the space fills up, the software removes files when signing in Flow in order from the oldest to the newest according to when the file has been last used.
Select the timer for removing the files from the field’s Cleanup local files which have not been used for drop-down menu. The default value is 30 days. You can also type the value as an integer in unit days.

If necessary, you can clear the file cache by using a button Cleanup.

Note:

The file cache is not in use if there is no location specified for it.
You can remove the selected files by using the operating system’s functions (file explorer).
The software deletes files automatically if the server’s address is changed.
