Open a Drawing from an Assembly Drawing

Open a part's or subassembly's drawing into a new window from the assembly's drawing. The function is available only, if the assembly's model is opened in the software in addition to the assembly's drawing. If there are no existing drawings of the part or subassembly selected, the function is not available.

1. Open the assembly's drawing.
2. Select a line or part number in the drawing's projection, and the context-sensitive function Open drawing.
   • You see which drawing the function opens from the last part of the function name.
   • If there are several drawings available, select the drawing from a list.
