Detach a Line or Text from a Projection

General

• In some cases, you want to add lines or texts to the drawing of a model. These elements bind to the projection if they are added to the projection area and thus move along with the projection if the projection is dragged to a new location.
• A line or text drawn in a projection can be detached from the projection. Lines created from the 3D model cannot be detached from the projection.

Detach a line from the projection

1. Select the lines or texts drawn or attached to the projection.
   Note: You cannot detach lines created from the geometry of the 3D model.
2. Select the context-sensitive function Detach from projection.
