Edit the Gradient Background Colors
Rendering
Edit the colors of the gradient color background of a rendered model as follows:
- Open the object tree branch Rendering.
- Select the title Background.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select Edit Values. The Edit Background dialog box is opened. A gradient color background has two properties: top and bottom color.
- Click Top color.
- Select a color in one of the followings ways:
- Select from the color palette
- Click the Select button. The Color dialog box opens.
- Select the color in the dialog box:
- Select one of the existing basic colors or any color from the color gradient.
- You can adjust the luminance of a color using the slider on the right.
- Alternatively, you can type the RGB value of the color directly in the Red, Green and Blue fields in the Color dialog box.
- Confirm by clicking OK.
- Enter the RGB value
- Type the RGB value in the text field. Type the comma-separated Red, Green, and
Blue values in brackets. For example:
(132, 193, 255)
- Click the Set button.
- Type the RGB value in the text field. Type the comma-separated Red, Green, and
Blue values in brackets. For example:
- Select from the color palette
- Repeat the above steps to edit the Bottom color.
- Confirm by clicking OK.
Note
- You can display the background by visualizing the model using the Rendering | Render Style | Rendered function.
- The changes are only applied to the rendered model. The OpenGL shaded model may have a different gradient color background. See Editing the Gradient Color Background of an OpenGL Model.
