Properties of a Vertical Section Definition

The following project system parameters define how the vertical section line is marked in the drawing:

• Name of section mark file (SECT_MARK_FILE) - Drawing file of the symbol, which is added at the start and end point of the section line.

  Software supplier's drawing file is in the ../system/macros/system folder. The customer-specific drawing file is in the ../custom/macros/system folder.

• Use line in cross section marking (SECT_LINE) - Defines whether a section line is drawn between the start and end point symbols or not.

  The drawing properties of the line are defined in the system settings in the GEOMPROP keyword group. The name of the property set is SECT_LINE.

  Line Setup

By default, the section symbol is shown only in the floor plan in which the section is defined. You can set the section symbols visible in the floor plans of desired floors. See Set the Visibility of a Building Component in Drawing-Model Pairs.
