Edit Grid Labels

You can edit either the label of an individual grid line or the labels of all parallel grid lines.

Edit a Single Label

1. Select the grid.
2. Move the cursor near the end grip point of a grid line.

   

3. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
4. Select Edit One Grid Label.
5. Type the new module line label.

   The new label cannot be the same as the label of an existing line (in either direction).

Edit the Labels of All Parallel Lines

Edit the labels thus, that the label of either the first or last line is changed. In this case the labels of the following lines are defined according to the alphabetical or numerical order. If, for example, you want to invert the order of grid lines with letter labels, select the last line and change its label into "A", in which case the labels of the following lines are changed into "B", "C" etc. in alphabetical order.

1. Select the grid.
2. Move the cursor near the end grip point of a grid line.

   

3. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
4. Select Edit All Grid Labels.
5. Type the new module line label. If the labels are of the format A, B, C, ... , you can also select following styles:
   • a, b, c, ...
   • 1A, 1B, 1C, ...
   • 1a, 1b, 1c, ...
   • XA, XB, XC, ...
   • Xa, Xb, Xc, ...

   X can be any character string.
