Cladding Fitting to Area

Edit the cladding to fit the length of the wall in the Cladding Fitting to Area dialog box.

The dimension in the field Cladding shortage informs how much too short the cladding is on the wall. You can fit the cladding to the wall in following ways:

  • Move the first or/and the last board. Type the offset in the field Move first board or/and Move last board.
  • Change the overlap in either of the following ways:
    • Select the radio button Cladding fitting by spreading - The number of boards remains the same and the overlap is reduced to the value displayed in the Overlap field.
    • Select the radio button Fitting by two boards - Two boards are added to the cladding and the overlap is increased to the value displayed in the Overlap field.
  • Select the radio button No fitting - The number of boards and the overlap remain the same, in which case the cladding stays short.
