Fixing a Wall Position

When you begin dimensioning the floor plan by adding distance constraints between, for example, walls, first select the wall or walls you wish to remain in place. Select the Position fixed constraint for these walls. When you change the value of the distance constraint (A), the fixed wall (B) will remain in place and the wall connected to it with the constraint (C) will move.

1. Select a wall.
2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
3. Select Constraints from the menu. The constraints connected to the wall are displayed in the dialog box.
4. Select the Position fixed checkbox.
5. Confirm by clicking OK.

• The center line or construction line of a fixed wall is blue. On other walls it is black.
