The cursor can be set to pass by the circle at the certain distance and be tangent to it, but to specific distance from the arc. You can select this ruler also during drawing a line.
- Position the ruler by clicking the position point, through the line passes by.
- After this, select the point of the arc, which the ruler passes in the direction of the tangent.
- After you have set the ruler, click the first and second point of the line. After you have clicked the second point, the ruler is automatically switched off.

If you set the ruler in the middle of drawing a line, the ruler is automatically set to pass through the last clicked point. The ruler will remain active only until the next point is clicked.
- Select Set tangential ruler: arc-point setting.
- If you select the ruler function before drawing a line, do either of the following:
- Click the position of the ruler (A). It is a point, through the ruler passes.
- Accept an arc point as the position of the ruler by selecting Confirm
- Select an arc (B).
