Pick Sheet from Library

You can import sheets stored in a library into the drawing sheets of a building by using the function Pick sheet from library. The selected sheets are copied to the view_sheets folder of the building, and they are displayed in the building's document browser. The document data is copied to the building's FILEINFO database.

If the drawing sheet imported from the library has views as reference drawings, views with the same name must also be found in the building's view_dwgs folder. A reference to a drawing outside the building works if the reference is an absolute file path.

  1. Open the Architectural Documents branch in the document browser.
  2. Move the cursor on the title Sheets.
  3. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
  4. Select Pick sheet from library.
  5. Select the sheet in the browser. Select a browser folder and double-click the drawing sheet. The standard delivery of the program includes library sheets for different purposes.
  6. Fill in the document data.
