Add a Machining
Log House Work Drawings
When you open the log work drawing of a wall for the first time, the program will automatically add the machinings defined in the machining library. If necessary, you can add individual machinings to the log work drawing. Use the function when the log work drawing is open. Select a machining from the machining library.
- Open the log work drawing.
- Do either of the following:
- Select Log Wall Layout | Machinings | Add.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select Add Machining.
- Select a machining from the list. The list consists of the machinings in the machining library.
- The following steps depend on the machining selected. Follow the prompts displayed on the
status bar.
- If, for example, you selected a pin or dowel, perform the following phases:
- Select the start point. You do not need to constrain the cursor, because the program will automatically add the machining either vertically or horizontally (depending on the machining).
- Select the end point.
- If, for example, you selected a cribbing, perform the following steps:
- Select the logs. Select several logs with the Ctrl key down.
- Select Confirm.
- Select a location for the machining.
- If, for example, you selected a pin or dowel, perform the following phases:

- Automatically added machinings, see Log Work Drawing Markings.
- If necessary, you can update the machinings which have automatically been added to a log work drawing by selecting Update a Log Work Drawing.
- You can remove all machinings at once by selecting Delete Machinings.
