Unload a Sub Model From an Active Drawing

Delete references to a sub model from one drawing-model pair of the main model at a time as follows:

  1. Activate the drawing window of the drawing-model pair.
  2. Select the sub model to be removed.
  3. Do either of the following:
    • Select Sub Project | Unload from Active Drawing.
    • Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select Unload Sub Model from Active Drawing.

The reference to the sub model will always be deleted from the active drawing-model pair. After removing the last reference to the sub model, the reference will be removed from the entire building, and you can no longer load the sub model to the main model's drawing-model pairs.

Note: You can remove references to a sub model from all the main model's drawing-model pairs by selecting the sub model in the model or in the floor plan drawing, and pressing the Delete key.
