Edit Panel Assembly Properties

Framer

You can change the type of a panel assembly or the visibility of the labels of the panels in the assembly by editing the assembly properties.

Note: I you change the panel assembly type, the prefix of the assembly label and usage also change to match the selected type. The assembly label is assigned the first free number available for that prefix.
  1. Select the panel assembly. Select the assembly label in the floor plan or in the object tree.
  2. Right-click and select Panel Properties. The Panel assembly properties dialog box opens.
  3. Edit the properties:
    • Panel type - The basic delivery of the program includes the following types:
      • Assembly - Suitable for an assembly consisting of beam panels or frame lines, for example.
      • Prefab unit - Suitable for an assembly consisting of wall, floor, ceiling or roof panels, for example.
    • Panel label visibility - Select either of the following:
      • None - Panel labels are not displayed in the floor plan.
      • Directly connected panels - The labels of the panels belonging to the assembly are displayed in the floor plan.

You can later change the visibility of the labels by editing the properties of the panel assembly.

Note: If the assembly consists of beam panels or frame lines, you can select the assembly in the model by clicking one part and then clicking on the mini-toolbar. The function selects the entire assembly.
