Add a Reference Part Number

Enter the first number to be added to the drawing and the number increment as the reference part number data.

The reference part number is highlighted in different color than a part number. Number 2 in the image.

1. On the tab, in the Parts Number group, click Reference Part Number.
2. Define the part number data in the dialog box.
   • Enter the initial number.
   • Define the number increment.
   • Select the element type with which the part number will be associated.
3. Confirm the part number data.
4. Select the starting point of the part number.
5. Select a location for the part number.
6. Select Confirm.

Note

• You can add the same reference part number more than once in the same way as a part number. For more information Add a Part Number.
• To define parts list data in a designed drawing, select the function Material and Attribute Database> Part number.
