Set Material Code for a Symbol

This function can be used to add a material code for an element. You can attach a material code associatively to a symbol, hatch, line or text. Elements with material codes are collected into part lists.

1. On the tab, in the Part Number group, click Set Element Code.
2. Select a component group from the list.
3. Select the material code from a list.
4. Select the element type to which you wish to associatively connect the code.

   Select Associativity

5. Select the elements to which you want to set the selected material code. If a material code is added for a symbol, it is highlighted in the drawing.
6. Select Confirm.
