Model Drawing - Add a Reference Drawing

You can add a reference drawing to a model drawing if the drawing is opened from a model.

Do as follows:

  1. Open an archived model drawing using the Drawings function from the part feature tree or assembly tree.
  2. Select Reference Drawings in the projection tree.
  3. Select the context-sensitive function Add Reference Drawing.
  4. Define the data of the reference drawing in the dialog box.
    • Select the reference drawing to be read from the archive or from the folder.
    • Freeze the reference drawing if you do not wish it to updated when opening a drawing.
    • Select the drafting properties of the reference drawing.
    • Select the visibility of the layers of the reference drawing.

  5. Click OK.
  6. Select location
Note:
  • You can manage the reference drawing in a model drawing as follows:
    1. Select the label of the raster image from the assembly tree.
    2. Select the following contextual function:
      • Hide/Restore
      • Delete
      • Edit
