Item Database Management

View and edit the content of the item database. The item database can contain the following items:

• Materials
• Ready-made components
• Purchased parts
• Items created from part models
• Items created from assembly models (product structures)

If you edit part or assembly item data using this function, the changes will not be updated in the assembly model data. Data is collected on the model drawing's parts list from the item database only when the Roll-out to End option is selected in the parts list collection.

1. On the tab, in the Databases group, click Application.
2. Select Item database: Browse and Edit.
3. Edit, add or delete data.
4. Click OK.
