Sheet Metal Part Settings

You can edit the sheet thickness and bend radius as follows:

The Thickness and Bend Radius fields in the Sheet -metal Part Properties dialog box contain options for the values. The options displayed in these fields can be read from the software's keyword group bend. The values entered by the user are collected in the corresponding fields in other dialog boxes.

If necessary, you can edit keywords in the bend keyword group. Edit Keywords

Defining Bend Radius with the Select Button

The Select button used when selecting the bend radius is active when an application development program has been added to this software for defining the bend radius value.

The application development program is called SelRadius and it is saved in the Vertex Shared/macros directory. Pressing the Select button starts the application development program. Only one file named SelRadius may be in use. The application development program can be implemented, for example so that it is given a sheet thickness as a parameter and it returns the bend radius to be used. Alternatively, the application development program can be used to execute a user-created selection list of bend radii without taking sheet thickness into account.
