Add a Section Symbol

Add a section symbol to a drawing. To add a section symbol, you must select the viewing side (direction) for the section.

On the tab, in the Mechanical group, select Notes, and select Add section symbol.
Select the points of the section line.
Stop drawing the section to the last selected point by selecting Confirm.
Select the viewing side for the section.
Enter the section symbol.
Select Confirm.

Note:

You can easily delete a section symbol by selecting snap to group, selecting the symbol and pressing the Delete key.
