Add the Contour Length to a Drawing

General

• With the function, you can add reference line text to a drawing, with the length of the edge of the selected line chain.
• In the model drawing, the length of contour will be refreshed as changes are made to the model.

Add text that indicates the contour length

1. Select Drawing | Mechanical | Notes >  Length of contour.
2. Select a contour line from the drawing.
   • The arrowhead of the reference line is positioned at the clicked point.
3. Click a location for the reference line text in the drawing.
4. Repeat steps 2 to 3 to continue adding contour lengths.
5. Stop adding contour lengths
   • Select another function or
   • Press the Esc key or
   • Press the V key (V = Confirm) or
   • Click the middle mouse button or
   • Select the context-sensitive function OK.
