Browse and Open the Drawings of an Assembly
The purpose of use
- You can browse the drawings of an assembly, its subassemblies, and parts, and at the same time view the archive data for the drawings.
- This is a good way to check that all drawings have adequate archive data.
- You can only edit and complete archive data when you first open the drawing.
- You can open a drawing when you browse the drawings.
Browse and open the drawings of an assembly
- Open the assembly model in the working window.
- In the feature tree, select the main assembly, subassembly, or part.
- Select the context-sensitive function Other Functions> Browse Drawings of the Model.
- The program opens the dialog box Select the drawings for browsing.
- In the dialog box, select which level’s drawings to browse.
- Drawings of this level only.
- Drawings of next level also.
- Drawings of the whole structure.
- Select OK.
- The program opens the format file Archive Data.
- The drawings and their archive data are listed at the top.
- The drawing associated with the selected row is displayed at the bottom.
- Browse the drawings in the Archives Data list, if there is more than one drawing.
- Use the arrow keys, the scrollbars or the mouse wheel to scroll.
- The drawing associated with the row is displayed when you click the row in question.
- To open the drawing, click Open drawing.
- Click OK to quit.
