Rotate the Model

Rotate the model. Note that the entire model space rotates. This function does not rotate the model to another position.

  • By default, the model is rotated in an axonometric projection.
  • You can switch the rotation to a perspective projection by pressing Shift+cursor key.

Do as follows:

  1. On the tab, in the Projection group, click Isom Rotate.
  2. Select the direction with the arrow keys.
    • Right arrow = model rotates counter-clockwise around vertical axis.
    • Left arrow = model rotates clockwise around vertical axis.
    • Up arrow = model rotates around horizontal axis "away".
    • Down arrow = model rotates around horizontal axis "towards".
    • You can set the rotation around both the horizontal and vertical axis at the same time.
  3. Select the speed of movement with the number keys 1 (minimum) to 7 (maximum).
    • You can also change the speed during rotation.
  4. Stop rotating by pressing the arrow keys.
  5. Start rotating again by pressing the arrow keys.
  6. Quit by pressing the Esc key.

If the model disappears from the working window, restore it by selecting a projection from the Projection group.
