Model Revision

You can freeze revisions of models and drawings created with this software, which also includes basic tools for revision control. For more demanding revision control we recommend Vertex Flow software.

Save and Open a Drawing Revision

Save a Revision of a Model

You can save the model geometry as a revision during the desired modeling phase.

The model file on the disk is saved in the revision, not the graphics displayed on the screen.

The model revision file is saved in the project in its own folder Rev_label. You can continue modeling after saving a revision, but you should note that these modeling phases will not be saved in the previous revision. Naturally, you can save new revisions of the model later.

You can also log only those changes made to the model as a new revision so that no model file is included at all.

Revisions of the model drawings can be created separately, using the drawing archives data card function.

Save a revision of an active model in the working window.

  1. On the tab, in the Documents group, click Data.
